Buko Beach Resort

Very neat setup. The outdoor bathroom made it feel like a cultural experience. Great staff. Owner and friends were VERY nice and helpful. Front desk was able to organize and setup any activities needed. All expectations were met.

Mosquitoes. BUT they are found everywhere on this island. So nothing wrong with this particular place. Hotel employee provided mosquito repellent for your skin, plug in repellent in the rooms AND burning repellent for the outdoor bathroom.

Cozy, right on the beach, but not far from main road. Beautiful villa with native Filipino touches. Yummy custom breakfast delivered to Villa. Exceptional staff that were always warm & welcoming. It’s rare to find service like this where they can almost read your mind.

Nothing! We loved every thing!

This property is absolutely spectacular in the way it holds the local tradition and modern life! Everything around looks like in the middle of the nature, like a tangible contact to the island flavour and life! Everything is absolutely suitable for any preference including here the moody people and the proof for this is that the people who is administrating and getting in touch with gusts, they do hold the best teamwork, they are trying to turn your holiday into a magic even if they are fighting with a typhoon. I would right here so many things they are doing in a daily basis but it will take 8 and 8 days to put on the paper because every and night it was a perfect story for us. Among the things they are doing: perfect romantic dinner, bringing flowers for the in-loved couple, arranging the perfect oversee tours, excellent attention to every detail!The Buko Resort excellence is staying in the hand of:Jasemin, Aira and Ritchelle (receptionists)Esmeralda (everything about in-house)Krizza and the all the guys from the Buko Beach BarWonderful local people who are playing your happiness in memories and in a memorable staying!!!

Everything was perfect!

The staff from start to finish is first class in every way. From check-in, check out, room cleaning, setting up activities, restaurant staff ….everyone is NOT PAID ENOUGH!!!

We loved everything

The staff, the rooms and the care during my entire stay truly made my trip! Unfortunately, I travelled during a time when terrible weather was expected (nothing anyone can control, it’s July, and knowing I was travelling during an off-peak season, I expected this to happen) and also experienced an injury on my first day (something I did NOT plan on experiencing, haha), and was pretty much stuck at the property during the entirety in my time at El Nido, I retreated mostly to my room. I gave a heads up to the staff days before that my flight and arrival at the accommodation would be earlier than expected, and they were gracious enough to have me wait in one of the rooms while my accommodation was getting ready.I commend the staff, from the front desk to the resto, to the staff from the spa, and everyone else in between for helping me out during my trip. From getting me a tricycle to the nearest hospital after hearing about my injury to assisting me over the little things despite the storm during my trip. I really felt the alaga/care and I appreciate everyone’s help and assurance during what would be such a stressful time for myself as I was travelling solo this time around. Buko Beach Resort really made it feel like home, from the beautiful rooms, and the hardworking people that make up the resort; they were the silver lining in my trip and I’m so thankful! I can’t wait to return with my family this time, when I’m physically able and when the sun’s out.

The staff were amazing, location wise it’s down by the beach which has an amazing sunset. The room was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. It’s a nice and quiet spot which was very relaxing. Would definitely go back.

Where do I start. Such an amazing place. Exceeded our expectations. Photographs do not do justice as it is truly stunning. We booked the Garden Villa and it is so beautiful. Beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, and normally I have problems with them in other hotels. Staff are so welcoming and ready to help you with anything you need. We booked tours, water fall excursions, quads, everything with them. It is cheaper to book the tours with them that to do it with Viator or GetYourGuide. Food is amazing and they brought to the Villa every morning. Quite big quantities but we asked for less quantity the other days. We loved Ensaimadas and Pan de sal, that were not in the menu,but they brought it for us.The sunsets are truly amazing and the swimming pool is perfect as well and we were the only ones using it. Food at their restaurant is very good too. There are many restaurants walking distance but the resort is quiet and peaceful.

The beach is not for swimming as it is very shallow and the water reaches to your ankles, but they have amazing beaches 5 minutes from the resort. We took trycicles every day and they are very cheap. We also went to beaches 45’ from the resort and they arranged the taxis for us too.

If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet vacation in a magnificent paradise... Look no further. Buko is the place for you. Buko beach resort was our first stop on our honeymoon. It's a beautiful and peaceful piece of heaven. The staff is amazing, always smiling, always positive, taking care for all of your needs. The room is clean and beautiful. The outdoor shower is so cool, it was private and intimate.The restaurant have a variety of dishes and cocktails. It was really good. We loved the pool the most. Located on the edge of the resort and on the entrance to the beach. It really was an unforgettable vacation which we really recommend for everyone. Buko was a great start for us. Hopefully we'll get back there in the near future.

The staff were absolutely amazing - super friendly and always ready to help with a smile. The location of the resort is perfect - very peaceful and quiet, but still close to El Nido. Perfect location to watch the sunset. You can see that they put a lot of thought, effort and craftmanship into building this place.

Perfect position on the beach (though you have to walk a long way for it to get deep enough to swim). Friendly, helpful staff and well designed rustic room.

‘Sea View’ room was actually a view of the restaurant and then the sea beyond which was surprising and disappointing - and not as shown in the photographs. As we arrived we were told of construction work next door. This should have been communicated from the start. The cooked breakfast was pretty much inedible with hard, overcooked eggs. All a shame because otherwise I would recommend this hotel.

The walkway is not well lighted. On our attempt to walk out to the main road at night, we were greeted with a big German shepherd. We had to turn back to our hotel room.

Location of the rooms/villas in the middle of a very nice garden. Very nice style of the rooms/villas. Very quiet. Nice view on the beach in the morning during the breakfast. Nice staff and very helpful. El Nido downtown, Las Cabanas beach, Tours departure, are all very easy to access. Nothing to complain about.

The staff were the best - very welcoming to my family and accommodated our needs. They even did something special for someone's birthday in my family. The Grand Villa was incredible and the location is right off the beach to watch the beautiful sunsets from Corong Corong. The breakfast and restaurant food was very delicious too! Highly recommend this place.
